NightSides Feature #1! :dance:

It took me longer than I thought, but here it is.  This is more of an "Intro" to what the whole idea of NightSides is, (besides my personal playground that is ) and what some of the themes of future features will be. This is an ever evolving project for me, and everything featured has been an inspiration for some of my current WIPs.

NightSides feature #1

I could not help it.  The call has been there for as long as I can remember, too strong to ignore.  The soft glow of the moon, the winking of the stars.  The mysteries of the night in all its splendor and horror, waiting to be explored…

So I did.

First to capture my attention was the full moon, like a lady aglow with beauty against the velvety night.  Her myths and legends showed me changes, inspiration, hope, insanity, mad desires, and understanding, which in turn opened me up to more…

The further I went, the more I came to see that the calming of the stars and moon were well balanced by the terrors lurking in the shadows, as well as the differences between 'dark' and 'evil'.  

Duality is the Key to Nature
Or Knowledge could not exist.

With this realization came a new understanding.  The creatures I was taught to fear as a child became my guardians as I learned that the shadows were there to protect me.

It was my growing fascination with these characters that led to finding the others…

This then led me to new worlds…
